EKKOU provides flexible options to manage who can see the list of members who have paid a contribution, as well as the exact amounts they have paid. This ensures that associations can respect privacy policies while maintaining transparency where required.
Contributor visibility is managed through a hierarchical system, meaning that settings on a specific contribution override the default settings of its contribution type, which in turn override the global association settings.
The hierarchy follows this order of precedence:
At each level, you have the following toggles:
show_contributors): Determines if members can see the list of people who have paid.show_contributor_amounts): Determines if the specific amount paid by each person is visible. This setting is only active if "Share contributor list" is enabled. When editing these settings at the Contribution or Contribution Type level, you will see a third option: Inherit. Choosing "Inherit" tells the system to fallback to the setting of the level immediately above it.
These global settings will act as the baseline fallback for all contributions that have their visibility set to "Inherit".
If the final resolved visibility for a contribution allows it, members using the EKKOU Member App will be able to tap on a past contribution to view:
show_contributors is true).show_contributor_amounts is true). If visibility is restricted, members will only see their own payment history connected to the contribution without seeing the full contributor list.
